Meet the Zawadi Queens

Talk about feeding time at the Zoo....

We have some very exciting news with regard to a new girl - we may have to wait a bit though??...watch this space!

The Zawadi Girls

Zawadi Nina

bengal queen nina

Sire: Starwinds Tulcana
Dam: Llandar Ella

Nina Narnar is a darling girl who has just produced her first litter of stunning rosettted kittens. Nina is named after the singer Nina Simone in keeping with, and continuing the 'musical artists' theme, which began with her mummy Ella.  As you can see in the photo, Nina is absolutely covered in rosettes with a desirable random pattern, she has a short, dense coat, a thick tail and just about everything we could wish for in a queen.

Zawadi Daytona

bengal queen toni

Sire: Starwinds Tulcana
Dam: Llandar Angelina

Toni is very prim and proper - everything must have the "i's" dotted and the "t's" crossed. She has to either open or close every door in the house and has become quite an expert in her 'field'. Thankfully, she didn't inherit her mother's (Lou Lou's) 'always on' maximum volume voice switch. Instead, Toni 'crrr-ackles' quietly, to avoid disturbing her babies (and us!).  She loves to curl up inside a blanket and its almost as if she is playing hide & seek with us.

Zawadi BonBon

Sire: Starwinds Tulcana,
Dam: Imperial Grand Premier Zawadi Swizzle

Bonbon is the striking daughter of our beautiful, retired queen IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER Zawadi Swizzle (aka Wyd) and mother of GRAND CHAMPION Zawadi Shamwari (aka Clawed). Bon Bon is a complete angel with her mothers good looks, temperament and 'tart ways!' She is a perfect mother with her kittens and brings them up so well - they all seem to inherit her placid ways and are so happy with life. She is so much like her mother that we are now calling her Wyd 2. She consistantly produces the most beautiful kittens - we have been breeding from this line for 5 generations.

GCCF Champion & TICA Double Grand Champion Zawadi Cleo

Cleo in the garden aged 6 months

Sire: Gogees Monet (imp),
Dam: Llandar Ella

Cleo is a lovely typy girl and has such a strong personality. Her favourite pastimes are fetching and watching football on the tv. She is currently being shown and should be having her first litter during 2008. Cleo recently became a GCCF Champion & TICA Double Grand Champion and to top it off she was awarded a trophy for the Best Brown Spotted Adult Bengal 2007/2008 by the Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain - we are so proud of her.

Advish Mzuri

bengal queen zuri

Sire: Oaklandhills Virtual Reality (imp)
Dam: Zawadi Aurora

Mzuri or Trouble as she is known is such a madam, but wonderful with it. She screams at the top of her voice if she see's another kitty in the house (which happens all the time here!). We love her to bits even though she is such a 'Miss'. Yippee...Trouble carries the snow gene.

Future Queens

Introducing the following new girls at Zawadi - they are going to have a little time posing on the show ring first.

Zawadi Sade

Sade again!

Sire: Gogees Monet (imp),
Dam: Zawadi Nina

Sade is a 'Smooth Operator' - she just slips out of your hands because her coat is just so soft! She has a 'Diamond Life' playing with the other girls in the house and thinks Cleo is her mum! They adore each other and have mass washing sessions.

Kinyosi Jasira

Jazi posingJazi exploring

Sire: Gogees Monet (imp),
Dam: Glitterglam Galanthus

Jazi is a confident playful girl with a little mischief built in! Her mother is a lovely snow marbled girl so to us this is a snow and marble carrier! Many thanks to Jan Barber for looking after her so well.
