DEAR LIZZIE

Such a young Bengal,

Found as a stray

In poor condition

In a bad way.

This little girl

Such a poor start

But truly, she captured

Connies kind heart.

A poorly tummy

But thats not all

What she had been through

Was very cruel.

Off to the vets

Only to discover

This little girl

Was to become a mother.

With love and care

She learnt to trust

With time and good diet

Her survival - a must.

Vet bills were plenty

But worth every penny

Her health so much better

Improvements were many.

The birth of her babies

An event that just "rocks"

One with white feet

Was called 'Flashy Sox'

Sadly for some reason

Unknown to us all

The Angels came down

And left two - that was all

It is cruel in this world

We do not understand

Flashy sox and three more

Were not meant for this land.

As they look down from heaven

Contented at what they see

They say thank you to Connie

For caring for me.

She could not have done more

A true sincere friend.

She was with us all totally

Right to the end.

Do not worry Connie

Cos we are okay

You could not have done more for us

Every single day

We are watching over you all now,

And will continue to do

Hi Connie

I have attached some photographs of Nala. She is an absolute darling and Lee and I love her to bits. She is still incredibly greedy and talks to me the whole time I am cooking. We have taught her to kiss us on the lips before she has a treat which is so endearing, and daddy gets a kiss every night when he comes home from work. Every morning I have a 20 minute fuss with her and she purrs soooo much that she dribbles! We are about to move to the country in Oxon and I cant wait to take her for walks over the fields as she adores being out in the garden, even crying to be let out, (only on her leash as she is too precious to loose.) We taught her from the start to wear a harness and she doesn't even know now that she has it on. Thank you for our beautiful princess.

Hi Connie,

Arty will be one year old on Thursday (27th) so as promised here are some photos we took today (two of them were taken about a month ago but they are all recent pictures). We sometimes call him 'Inspector Rustle' because he is obsessed with anything that rustles so eating sweets is very difficult as he always tries to grab the wrapper. He's really big now and always full of energy. We hope you can put a couple of these pictures on your website letting everyone know its his first birthday this week. In one of the photos you will see his favourite pink ribbon which he loves chasing ( I think you said his Dad Monet has a favourite brush which is pink so he certainly takes after him). Hope you enjoy the photos.
