West Country Cat Club Show 2012

First show for us of 2012 and it was a very cold start. It was -4c on the car thermometer on the M4 and not much warmer when we arrived at Weston Super Mare. Saying this, it was a lovely bright sunny day and we all wrapped up well.

During the morning we all piled into a taxi and went to the Pier at Weston, the sea was like a pond and I must say have never seen it that calm. We had our usual fun on the Pier on the 2p slots and 'Deal or no Deal' game!

Back to the show for the results.

Pr. Zawadi Olympia (AKA Cleo) was awarded her 1st Grand Certificate. Owned by Emma and Elena.

Cleo

Gr Pr Zawadi Firecracker (AKA Bertie) was awarded a Reserve Imperial Certificate. Owned by Ann.

Dear Connie,

Hope you are well. Our boy Max had another show today and did wonderful as always. Max was awarded best Bengal Entire and also 3rd Best in Group 3. This was the last show for the season. Throughout the year points were accrued and published for the show to reflect a combined list of cats and their points. Max was ranked 4th overall and considering he has only competed over the last 5 months is exceptional.Congratulations Connie and Stuart for breeding such a wonderful boy and a big thank you for entrusting him to me, knowing that you had a winner all along:-)

Talk again soon, off to a new celebration

Dear Connie,

You beat my by 3 minutes, was about to write to you;-)
It has been a long day but a great day at the British Shorthair all breeds show. There were two rings and both judges were from interstate, NSW and VIC. Max was a model show cat again today and judges commented on his calm demeanour and show temperament. Max was awarded Best Bengal by both judges and also 3rd Best in Group and Reserve Best in Group by the other judge. He was also awarded Best Head type by one judge in the side classes.

It was a wonderful day and Max was so calm and sleeping for most, not fussed over noise or anything. I am so proud of our boy!!!! Congratulations to you too!!!

Dear Connie,

Hello dear friend, hope you are well. Sorry for the silence but I have been away for a week and at show all day today. Yes, he did very well again;-) Today was a Feline Association SA Crazy Cat Kapers show. It was only one ring as the day also included fun activities, dress-ups etc. The judge was well reputed from interstate and did a very informative and thorough job. Max was awarded Best Bengal and 3rd Best in Group. The judge had only wonderful comments about Max and his words at the end were, 'What a fantastic specimen of a Bengal cat'

Congratulations to you too and thank you:-) Here are some photos, hope you can open them. I will also send some photos of the kittens in another email.

Best wishes
