Ocicat & Bengal Cat Club Show 2008 The Ocicat & Bengal Cat Club are holding their 5th Championship Show on Saturday 25th October 2008 at the Bracknell Leisure Centre. The show will open to the public from 1.00pm. Its a great day out for anyone interested in the breed, you will be able to meet breeders, judges and Bengals of course! R & L Pet products are in attendance and you can pre-order your Everclean litter and Bozita food. Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain Show We attended the first ever 2 day show held by the Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain. Newtons Duke and Catamarian Aspen were representing us. Both were in the kitten classes and were up against superb competition with over 40 Bengal kittens in attendance. Both Duke & Aspen got into the Bengal kitten congress final - Aspen got 10th best kitten and Duke was 8th. Both did well in their rings and Duke got 1st Colour, 1st Division and 1st Best of Breed in Bill Lee's ring and then got placed 4th best kitten in his Allbreed final - go Dukie boy. ![]()
![]() We would like to thank the Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain for a great show, The Whitehouse Hotel in Telford for a great nights sleep and a superb breakfast, the show managment team and all the judges - we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away! Thank you too to Janie of Wothorpe Bengals for taking the piccies, Peter for use of your fantastic show pens again, I must not forget Jan Barber of Kinyozi Bengals who held the fort at home! South Western Counties Cat Club Show Congratulations once again go to the West Swindon branch of 'Team Zawadi' and their kitties attending the above show. Imperial Grand Premier Zawadi Swizzle (Wyd) on being awarded a Reserve Imperial Grand Premier Certificate, a further Grand Premier Certificate and 1 x 1st place and 1 x 2nd in her side classes - owned by Wlma. Grand Premier Zawadi Hamsini (Ruben) was also awarded a Reserve Imperial Grand Premier Certificate, a further Premier Certificate, 1st in his Open, 1 x 1st and 1 x 2nd his his side classes too - owned by Peter. Grand Champion and Premier Zawadi Shamwari (Clawed) was awarded a Grand Premier Certificate, Best of Breed, 1 x 1st and 2 x 2nd in his side classes - also owned by Peter. Zawadi Bengals would like to congratulate Zawadi Barbury Belle for coming first in her Open and and further 2 x second places and a fourth in her side classes. Owned by Mandy & Arnie. ![]()
Thank you to 'Team Zawadi' for their contribution to an excellent turn out for the Bengal Cat Clubs Third Championship show held on the 26th July 2008. The sun was certainly shining in Newbury and we'll start with our 2 stars of the show. ![]()
![]() First we must start (once again) with Imperial Grand Premier Zawadi Swizzle (AKA Wyd). Wyd was awarded an Imperial Certificate, a Grand Premier Certificate and 2 further 1st places in her side classes - a red card day! She finished the day off with a superb Best In Show Female Neuter. Owned by Wilma. Next we have Zawadi Snowdrop - she won her Open class, got Best of Breed and got 2 first places and one third in her side classes. She finished her day off in the Best in Show pens getting Best Female Kitten. Owned by the Chick Family. Grand Premier Zawadi Hamsini was awarded a Reserve Imperial Certificate, a 1st place in his Open and a Premier Certificate and a further 1st place in a side class . Owned by Peter. ![]() Zawadi Matrix at his debut show (14 weeks old...bless) won his open class and got 2 second places and a third in his side classes. Owned by us but soon to be owned by Claire & Andy at Willowfrost Bengal's. ![]() Zawadi Barbury Belle had a great day getting placed 2nd in all her classes. Owned by Mandy & Arnie. ![]() Kinyozi Jasira was awarded a super Third place out of 11 in her Open class and a further 2nd and 3rd place in her side classes. Owned by me and bred by Jan Barber. ![]() Also in attendance were Zawadi Hemi and Zawadi Cleveland who also had great days out with some good places in their classes. Owned by Alan & Marie. Wyd and Ruben also won the Reserve title for the Clubs 'Brace' competition. There were 15 entries in this class. We would like to say how much we all enjoyed our day out at the show. There were some really great quality cats there from both TICA and the GCCF. We would like to thank the show management team, The Bengal Cat Club, the judges, Peter for his photography and all you Zawadi people for showing your cats with such enthusiasm.
